Imagine being eternal... no begining or end, you spend an infinite amount of time doing nothing, eternity means exactly that, there was an infinite amount of time before god would have created the world and universe, then god creates the universe, which at some point all the stars and everything else will burn out over the next trillions of years, and once its all over, what then? Go back into obscurity and do... nothing? Return to an eternity of... nothing?
If God really is eternal, would he really want to be?
